Dan Phillips, Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Dan comes to us from Sun Automation Group where he worked successfully for over 20 years. He started as a Project Engineer and advanced through five different positions to Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
He propelled his company onto the global stage; expanding into international regions serving the vast packaging equipment market. Dan believes in winning teams, continuous improvement, and leading with a purposeful focus. Over his career, he built, trained, led and inspired teams in delivering more than 500M in global sales.
Tapping into his engineering foundation, Dan has driven the development of several innovative products into thousands of worldwide automated equipment applications. Helping to deploy game-changing solutions to B2B partners that drove a competitive advantage, superior efficiency, and market growth. He takes a strategic approach to adapting engineering methodologies to plot business strategy and helped lead both organic and acquisition growth. Dan is customer-driven, always seeking to deliver results for the client and seeking to line up solutions to the changing market needs.
Dan earned his MBA from Loyola University in Maryland and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from John Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.

Sara Dunlap, Marketing Operations Manager

Sara earned her degree in Consumer Science and Business Administration from Florida State University in 2005.  In her role as Project Manager, Sara is responsible for the implementation of premier accounts nationwide. Her duties include: project development, design control, administering engineering projects to complete prototype, as well as final product release and feature control management. She is also responsible for coordinating equipment, return material authorizations, engineering & technical support, customizations, site scheduling, and training & implementation from the date the purchase order is received until the site is running independently.  Sara is the project manager for sites such as the State of Missouri, State of West Virginia, State of Florida, BP Alaska, The City of Miramar, Pembroke Pines and Ben E Keith Groceries; all with over 40,000 vehicles and 500 fueling locations combined. Most recently Sara has been responsible for the implementation of a nationwide fuel management program for Dean Foods Distribution, utilizing FuelMaster® that includes the installation at many of their regional and nationwide dairy distribution centers across the country.

David Landoch, Sales Director

David Landoch has over fifteen years of professional account management within the manufacturing sector.  While working within the building materials industry, he worked with a network of distributors throughout the western United States and Canada. 
David demonstrates a strong technical background that is well balanced with sales and operations, as well as a high level of successful strategic decision making.  These skills have helped him develop strong relationships with his customers and distributors.
Prior to working at Syn-Tech Systems, Inc. David worked with Georgia-Pacific/Bluelinx Corporation as both a Sales Manager and General Manager.  He developed an aggressive marketing campaign which positioned the company as a “green supplier” resulting in multiple commercial LEED projects. David also created a team of commodity traders to both acquire and increase new sales within the building manufacturing segment.
David received a Bachelor of Science in Forest Products Science from the University of Massachusetts and his Master of Science in Forest Products Science from Mississippi State University.

Taylor Fenior, Marketing Coordinator

Taylor began his career at Syntech in 2012 when he was hired as a Field Service Technician. For four years he traveled the country working with customers and distributors installing and troubleshooting all of Syntech and FuelMaster’s products. In 2016 he was promoted to become the Marketing Coordinator. He now assists Syntech’s sales force and distributors. He is also a vital component in all of Syntech’s marketing projects.

Brandon Whitaker, Product Fulfillment Specialist

Brandon Whitaker processes all the commercial sales orders for parts, equipment upgrades, and new Fuelmaster systems. He also provides quotes for service parts as requested by our distributors and customers. In addition, he supports distributors and customers with any information they need pertinent to the ordering of Fuelmaster products. Prior to working in the Sales & Marketing Division, Brandon worked in the Shipping and Receiving Department. His prior experience with our products and his knowledge of our customers and distributors makes him a great asset to the Sales team.

Barbara Reker, Sales Support Specialist

As an internal resource, Barbara provides support to the company’s regional sales team, distributors, associated industry organizations, sales directors and the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. She is heavily involved in facilitating proposal responses, managing database content critical to sales development, as well as reviewing sales and distributor contracts for policy alignment, and coordinating industry partnerships, such as NJPA and GSA.
Prior to working at Syntech Systems, Barbara worked at the Tallahassee Democrat Newspaper Company in Sales Management. Her role included managing both geographic and internal sales teams serving various advertising customers and large corporate customers.

Tim Bryant, Project Manager

Tim was hired in 2009 and since then has worked as a Field Service Engineer and a Distributor Support Engineer.  He has developed and maintained relationships with both customers and distributors to ensure the sucess of all Fuelmaster products. As Project Manager, Tim is responsible for the implementation of fuel management systems for customers nationwide. His duties include: project development, design control, administering engineering projects to complete prototype, as well as final product release and feature control management. He is responsible for coordinating equipment, return material authorizations, engineering & technical support, customizations, site scheduling, and training & implementation from the date the Purchase Order is received until the site is running independently.

Heath Spires, Project Manager

Heath Spires began working for Syn-Tech Systems, Inc. in November of 2008.  Since joining the company, he has been responsible for implementing and overseeing several fuel management projects.  Some notable examples include facilitating the upgrade of over 600 aviation and commercial sites to PA-DSS standards; working with Texas Industries, Inc.; and, The City of Fayetteville, North Carolina to ensure ongoing success with their AIM2 program. He has also managed projects with large petroleum companies such as SC Fuels and Mansfield Oil Company.  Heath also works with FUELMASTER®‘s credit card partners. Upon coming aboard with Syn-Tech Systems/FUELMASTER®  Heath received his Bachelors degree from Valdosta State University with a focus in Marketing and Management.
